it's been soooofa-king long since i last checked deviantart that i forgot what was in my own gallery, or who was in my friends list. it upsets me that my new life in this crazy world that is college did not inspire me enough to take more and better pictures and/or do less crappy digital manipulations on corel. is there a proper term for "photographer's block" (not that i'm calling myself a photographer. that would just be sacrilege)? or is there something like 'student's block'? youngster's block?

the previous paragraph might suggest that things have been going downhill lately, or that i have turned emo. but in reality, i'm doing quite alright. it's just that, as woody allen's amazing character, 'harry' would say, "i just can't seem to come up with a meaningful idea". hence the ridiculously long absence from deviantart.

all this rambling would fill the reader (whoever that poor soul is) with the expectation of a phrase like "but i'm back with some kick-ass photos!". i hate to disappoint, but i'll do it anyway. i still have no deviations to put up. not that the reader cared. but i do; for my own sake...

i think i'll just turn on the tv and look for some meaningful ideas.
